2. Pull the terminal out of the connector.
Push Nut Disassembly Note
NOTE: Do not reuse the removed push nut.
Remove the push nut by using a flat head screwdriver, etc.
Spindle Disassembly Note
CAUTION: The base plate is made of resin and so that it is easily damaged. Do not damage the base plate when removing the spindle by tapping
with a plastic hammer.
note: If the shift lever and the spindle or the shift-lock lever are fixed together and cannot be removed separately, replace the selector lever
component.
Remove the spindle by tapping with a plastic hammer.
Spindle Assembly Note
NOTE: Before installation, clean the inner and outer surfaces of the boss and the through hole of the spindle in the base plate. After cleaning, cover
each friction part with cold resistance grease.
CAUTION: The base plate is made of resin and so that it is easily damaged. Do not damage the base plate when pressing in the spindle by using a
plastic hammer.
