d. If both or neither lamp illuminate(s), turn throttle sensor adjusting screw until one lamp is illuminated. If both lamps are illuminated, turn
adjusting screw counterclockwise. If neither lamp illuminates, turn adjusting screw clockwise Fig. 11..

TESTING W/OHMMETER

Disconnect throttle sensor connector.

Connect circuit tester to sensor, Fig. 14.
4.
Open throttle valve and observe sensor resistance. Resistance between terminals A and B should be approximately 1000 ohms at idle and
approximately 4000---6000 ohms with throttle valve fully open. On 1987---88 models, resistance between terminals A and C should be
approximately 4000---6000 ohms with throttle valve either fully open or in idle position.
