DESCRIPTION

Installation of the sub-zero starting assist device on the subject model has been discontinued since the August 21, 1989 production. In accordance with
this design change, the configuration of the oil pan, extension manifold, and intake manifold have been modified. If replacement of these parts becomes
necessary, please keep the notes below in mind.

NOTES FOR PARTS REPLACEMENT

1.

Oil Pan - w/ & w/o Turbo

The new oil pan has no mounting eye for a thermo switch. Therefore, discard the old thermo switch and wrap the connector with electric tape
to prevent a short circuit.

Remove and discard the following parts:
