Condenser To Evaporator Line

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the A/C pressure cut-off switch.
2. Remove the evaporator core orifice.

CAUTION:  Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.

3. Disconnect the evaporator line from the A/C evaporator core. See SPRING LOCK COUPLING.

4. Remove the evaporator line support nut and the line.
5. Remove the front bumper cover.

CAUTION:  Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.

6. Remove the nut and disconnect the liquid line from the A/C condenser core and remove line.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Lubricate the O-ring seals with PAG compressor oil. See REFRIGERANT OIL ADDING.
