Torque Converter Leak Check
TORQUE CONVERTER LEAK CHECK
Inspection
1. Clean the outside surface of the torque converter.
2. Install the special tool into converter hub.
Warning: Always follow correct safety procedures while using press. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
3. Position the torque converter with the installed special tool into an arbor press. Secure press. Apply enough force from press to seal tool into
torque converter.
Note: a Use clean dry shop air.
4. Using the special tool, apply air pressure to the valve.
