Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair
Evaporator Inlet Line Removal/Installation

EVAPORATOR INLET LINE - 2.5L AND 3.0L REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Recover the refrigerant. See See: Service and Repair/Discharging And Recovery.
2. Remove the evaporator inlet line bracket nut.

To install, tighten to 8 Nm {0.8 kgf-m, 71 in-lbf}.
3. Remove the suction accumulator outlet fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.

Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.

To install, tighten to 15 Nm {1.5 kgf-m, 133 in-lbf}.
4. Remove the thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.

Discard the gasket seals.

To install, tighten to 15 Nm {1.5 kgf-m, 133 in-lbf}.
5. Remove the evaporator inlet line.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
