3. Install the 2 gearshift cable clips.

CAUTION:Make sure the clips are set completely within the cable adapter groove and fully seated. 

4. Install the 4 gearshift lever nuts.

Tighten to 25 Nm {2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf}.

5. Adjust the gearshift cables. See  See: Shift Linkage/Shift Cable/Adjustments.

6. Install the floor console finish panel.

7. Install the gearshift lever knob and boot assembly.
