Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor Removal/Installation

TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See  See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair/Lifting.

2. Disconnect the turbine shaft speed (TSS) sensor electrical connector, remove the bolt and the TSS sensor.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten to 12 Nm {1.2 kgf-m, 106 in-lbf}.

Fill with clean transaxle fluid to the correct level.
