Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair
Manifold And Tube Assembly Removal/Installation

MANIFOLD AND TUBE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - HYBRID
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See See: Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair/Lifting.
2. Recover the refrigerant. See See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Discharging And Recovery.
3. Remove the DC/DC converter. See - See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Power Control System/Voltage Converter/Service and Repair/Direct
Current/Direct Current (DC/DC) Converter Removal/Installation.
4. Remove the front bumper cover. See See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Front Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair.
5. Remove the condenser inlet fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.

Discard the O-ring seal.

To install, tighten to 15 Nm {1.5 kgf-m, 133 in-lbf}.
6. Remove the A/C compressor manifold bolt and disconnect the compressor manifold and tube from the A/C compressor.

Discard the O-ring seals.

To install, tighten to 20 Nm {2.0 kgf-m, 177 in-lbf}.
7. Remove the 2 evaporator outlet line fitting nuts.

Discard the O-ring seals and gasket seals.

To install, tighten to 15 Nm {1.5 kgf-m, 133 in-lbf}.
8. Remove the compressor manifold and tube assembly bracket nut.

To install, tighten to 8 Nm {0.8 kgf-m, 71 in-lbf}.
9. Remove the compressor manifold and tube assembly.
