1. Remove the hydraulic control unit (HCU). See - See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Hydraulic Control

Assembly - Antilock Brakes/Service and Repair.

2. Remove the 4 ABS module screws and the ABS module.

To install, tighten to 2 Nm {0.2 kgf-m, 18 in-lbf}.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

4. Configure the ABS module. See  See: Relays and Modules - Powertrain Management/Relays and Modules - Computers and Control Systems/Body

Control Module/Description and Operation/Module Configuration.

5. Calibrate the ABS module. Follow the instructions on the scan tool.

NOTE:Vehicle must be on level ground and at a complete stand still during calibration.
