5. Connect the driver-side air bag module electrical connector.

Warning:
-

The air bag is for restraint system repair only. Remove from vehicle prior to road use. Failure to follow these instructions could result
in personal injury and possible violation of vehicle safety standards.
 

6. Remove the special tool from the driver-side safety belt pretensioner body harness electrical connector.

7. Connect the driver-side safety belt pretensioner electrical connector.
8. Connect the battery ground cable.
9. With the remaining special tools still in place, prove out the air bag system. 

10. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
