Differential Fluid Seals - RH

Removal 

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

Note:  Determine the source of the fluid leak. If the leak is from the transaxle, continue with this procedure.

2. If it is determined that the fluid leak is coming from the power take off (PTO) unit, remove the PTO.

Note:  Place a suitable drain pan under the vehicle.

3. Remove the transaxle drain plug and drain the fluid.
4. Remove the RH halfshaft.
5. If equipped remove the PTO. 

6. If the vehicle is equipped with a PTO, use the special tools to remove the RH differential seal.

7. If the vehicle is not equipped with a PTO, use the special tools to remove the RH differential seal.
