20. Connect the passenger air bag module electrical connector.

21. Raise the glove compartment. 

1. Depress the locking tabs.

22. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT.
23. Prove out the air bag system. For additional information, refer to AIR BAG AND SAFETY BELT PRETENSIONER SUPPLEMENTAL

RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS).

24. Check the restraint system for correct operation.

REAR SEAT BACKREST - SPLIT BENCH

Removal

NOTE:  The 40% rear seat backrest must be removed before the 60% rear seat backrest 

40% rear seat backrest

1. Remove the 40% rear seat backrest. 

1. Remove the nuts and bolts. 
2. Remove the backrest.

60% rear seat backrest

2. Remove the 60% rear seat backrest.
