Fuel Pressure Regulator: Description and Operation

    The fuel pressure regulator, Fig. 4, is located in the fuel distributor.  It accurately maintains supply pressure at 4.5 - 5.2 bar by the use of an adjustable,
spring loaded plunger.  The valve is matched to the regulator bore and is non replaceable, but can be removed for "O"-ring replacement.  Severe blends
of gasohol can damage these "O"-rings.
