adjustment motor electrical connector (M20x1) to positive terminal and black line of fore/aft adjustment motor electrical connector (M20x1)
to negative terminal of battery. Reverse the terminals to change the rotation direction of the motor.

With non-functional fore/aft adjustment motor:

Drive upper steering shaft (70g) into jacket tube (71) using suitable aluminum bolt (077).

Remove nut (62a) from link rod (62).

Drive out upper steering shaft (70g) using suitable aluminum bolt (076) until link rod (62) is pushed out of bracket (70h) on jacket tube (71).

Component Identification

Detach fore/aft adjustment motor (M20m1) from jacket tube (71) by removing bolts (1, 2, 3, 4).
