Glove Compartment Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

AR68.10-P-5001T Remove/Install Lock For Glove Compartment Lid

Disconnect ground line of battery

Open glove compartment (2)

Unclip cover (3) using long wedge and remove out of glove compartment (2)

See "Special Tools" given below.

Unscrew bolts (4)

Take glove compartment lock (1) out of glove compartment (2) until the electrical connectors (5, 6) are accessible

Disconnect electrical connectors (5, 6) and remove glove compartment lock (1)

Install in the reverse order     

8

Check adjustment of glove compartment lid, adjust glove compartment lid if necessary
