Locate the purge valve (Y58/1) (Model 129 shown) and utilize two hose clamps, Part Number 003 997 9190 at the connection (arrows, Figure 2),
to ensure maximum clamping efficiency.

Use only clamp type hose clamps as described, do not use screw type hose clamps. Additionally, to avoid damage to the hoses/pipes, ensure that the hose
clamps are correctly installed i.e. not crocked and/or over tightened.

This repair step applies to Model 129 only.

Locate the flexible hose in the fender well area (Figure 3), then check and replace if necessary, the two hose clamps (arrows, Figure 3), part
number 005 997 8390, to ensure maximum clamping efficiency.

(!) Use only clamp type hose clamps as described, do not use screw type hose clamps. Additionally, to avoid damage to the hoses/pipes, ensure that the

hose clamps are correctly installed i.e. not crocked and/or over tightened.
