AR83.40-P-6350R Remove/Install Push Button Control Unit

  
DANGER:

Risk of explosion from gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury from caustic burns to
eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-add batteries

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.

Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cables from both batteries.

NOTE:  First of all, on-board electrical system battery in trunk, then starter battery in engine compartment.

Remove center console cover (1)

NOTE:  Remove the center console cover (1) until the electrical connectors (3) and the screws (2) are accessible. Do not disconnect the remaining
electrical connectors for the components in the center console cover.

Disconnect electrical connectors (3)

Unscrew screws (2) and remove the AAC pushbutton control module (N22) from the center console cover (1)

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory.

NOTE:  On replacement of the AAC pushbutton control module (N22), the actuator motors and the rotary potentiometers of the AAC center and lateral
nozzle control system (N18/2) must be taught in.
