Function
The ducting of the air is separated into the left and right-hand sides.
In the heating mode fresh air (recirculated air) is drawn in by the blower motor (A32m1) as a result of the position of the fresh air and recirculated air
flap motor (M16/21). The air cleaned by the all-purpose filter (2) is led through the cooled evaporator (3), where it is dried and cooled. Subsequently,
the dried and cooled a (B) is heated up again in the heated heat exchanger (4) as a result of the position of the left and right blending air flap actuator
motors (M16/28) and (M16/29).
The footwell flaps which are controlled by the left and right footwell flap actuator motors (M16/15) and (M16/16) are opened.
The heated air (C) is routed to the footwell vent air outlets. In this function, the left and right defroster vent flap actuator motors (M16/13) and M16/14)
are slightly opened. In heating mode the diverter flap, which is actuated by the diverter flap actuator motor (M16/27), is opened slightly.
When going from heating mode to cooling mode (mode change) the left and right footwell fresh air actuator motors (M16/15) and (M16/16) start to
close.
The condensation water is led to the outside condensation water drain.
