Spray dried surrounding area with Mercedes-Benz white contrast spray.

Install driven plate.

Check oil level in engine.

Bolt starter (17) to crankcase with M10 x 80 hexagon bolts (18).

Support engine in installation position at rear.

Transmission 722.3: bridge contacts (arrows) at starter lockout switch (S16/3).

Run engine and inspect for leaks.

Read fault memory and erase.
Stored faults which can result from cables being disconnected or from simulation during test work, have to be processed and erased in the fault
memories after completing the work.
