About the Grand Marquis
The Grand Marquis (1975–2011) became a model of its own in 1983 and was Mercury's largest saloon. It shared the rear-drive Panther platform with the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car; it was Mercury's longest-running nameplate, and the last Mercury ever built was a Grand Marquis.
