Valve Cover: Service and Repair
Left Side

Removal 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the upper intake manifold. 

3. Disconnect the Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) actuator.

Remove the bolts.

Disconnect the IMRC cable and position the IMRC actuator to one side.

Remove the cable bridge.

4. Disconnect the left-hand spark plug wires and the bracket.

5. Disconnect the radiator coolant expansion tank hose and wiring harness.

Disconnect the coolant expansion tank breather hose bracket from the stud on the left-hand valve cover.

-

Disconnect the wiring harness from the left-hand valve cover.

6. NOTE:  Remove the bolts in the indicated sequence.
