Sable V6-183 3.0L DOHC VIN S MFI (1997)
INSTALLATION
1. Position ignition coil, radio ignition interference capacitor and ignition coil ground wire onto RH valve cover.
2. Install ignition coil retaining bolts and tighten to 5-7 Nm (45-61 lb in).
3. Apply Ford Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound D7AZ-19A331-A (Motorcraft WA-10) or equivalent meeting Ford
specification ESE-M1C171-A to all ignition wire boots.
4. Install each ignition wire connector to the proper terminal on the ignition coil. Make sure ignition coil boots are fully seated.
5. Connect the engine control sensor wiring to the ignition coil and to the radio ignition interference capacitor.
6. Connect battery ground cable.
