Sable V6-183 3.0L DOHC VIN S MFI (1997)
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove accessory drive belt from generator.
3. Disconnect electrical harness connector and output terminal wiring.
4. Remove nut and position engine control sensor wiring out of the way.
5. Remove two bolts and one stud bolt.
6. Remove generator from vehicle.
Installation
1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
2. Tighten generator mounting bolts to 20-30 Nm (15-22 lb-ft).
3. Tighten engine control sensor wiring mounting nut to 15-20 Nm (1 1-14 lb-ft).
4. Tighten generator output nut to 9-12 Nm (80-106 lb-in)
