Voltage Regulator: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove Generator (GEN).
2. Remove three generator through bolts.
3. Separate generator rear cover.
4. Remove three voltage regulator retaining bolts.
5. Remove Voltage Regulator (VR).
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten voltage regulator retaining bolts in an alternating pattern to 3-4 N.m (27-35 Lb-In) and tighten generator through bolts to 8-10 N.m
(71-88 Lb-In).
