Shift Cable: Service and Repair
With Floor Shift

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove speed control actuator cable (if equipped).
4. Remove center console assembly.
5. Disconnect transmission shift cable from transaxle range selector lever.
6. Attach mechanics wire to the selector lever end of the shift cable.
