1.
With several rack teeth exposed, hold rack with an adjustable wrench and tighten each tie rod ball joint assembly to specifications using yoke
locknut tool T81P-3504-G or equivalent.
2.
Install a new rivet in tie rod ball housing until pin is flush with rivet head, Fig. 20.
3.
Install bellows and breather tube.
4.
Install tie rod outer ends.
