CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Inspect the front disc brake caliper bore, caliper piston, and piston seal groove for:
^
Cuts
^
Deep scratches
^
Pitting
^
Presence of foreign materials
The caliper piston and front disc brake caliper bore may be lightly polished with crocus cloth but if deep scratches remain, replace the front disc brake
caliper. The piston seal groove in the front disc brake caliper must not have deep scratches that would prevent the piston seal from working properly.
