Lobe
Cam Lobe Heights
Inspect the camshaft lobe height at the points shown.
The standard cam lobe height is 38.943-39.133 mm (1.5332-1.5407 inches).
The cam lobe wear limit is 0.15 mm (0.0059 inch).
Lobes
Inspect the camshaft lobes for scoring and signs of abnormal wear. Lobe pitting, except in the general area of the lobe toe, is not harmful to the operation
of the camshaft. Do not replace the camshaft unless the lobe height loss has exceeded specification or pitting has occurred in the cam lobe area.
