Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
2. Remove the two accelerator return spring bracket bolts.
3. Remove the accelerator pedal and shaft and the accelerator return spring bracket.
INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten the two accelerator return spring bracket bolts to 3-4 Nm (27-34 in lb).

Adjust the accelerator cable.
