7. Check the rubbing surfaces for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
8. Check the one-way clutch bearings for deformation and damage.
9. Check the forward one-way clutch (sprag) for wear and damage.
ASSEMBLY
1. Install the forward one-way clutch (sprag) into the forward clutch hub by rotating counterclockwise.
NOTE: Make sure that the forward one-way clutch (sprag) is installed in the proper direction.
2. Install the one-way clutch bearing onto the forward one-way clutch (sprag).
