12. Use the special tool to cut the urethane sealant.
WARNING: TO PREVENT GLASS SPLINTERS FROM ENTERING EYES OR CUTTING HANDS, WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND
HEAVY GLOVES WHEN CUTTING GLASS FROM THE VEHICLE.
NOTE: Lubricate the urethane sealant where it meets the windshield glass with water to aid the special tool when cutting the urethane sealant.
13. Insert the special tool at the top of the windshield glass.
14. Gently push the windshield glass outward from the inside of the vehicle to ensure the Urethane Adhesive seal is broken.
15. Remove the windshield glass.

Use a suitable tool to cut any remaining urethane that is still holding the windshield glass.
16. Remove any dirt from the pinch weld area.
17. Trim the remaining urethane on the pinch weld.
18. If reusing the windshield glass, remove all old urethane sealant.
INSTALLATION
1. Apply Urethane Metal Primer meeting Ford specification WSB-M2G234-C to any exposed metal on the windshield opening pinch weld.

Allow the urethane metal primer 10 minutes drying time.
2. Dry set the windshield glass.

Position the windshield glass in the pinch weld.

Center the windshield glass in the pinch weld opening.

Mark the position of the windshield glass with tape.

Remove the windshield glass.
NOTE: Keep the glass and body surfaces free of dirt, water and oil. Do not touch the coated surfaces with your hands.
