Removing And Installing / Replacing Left Or Right Brake Caliper

Replacing brake caliper.

Note:   After completing this operation, bleed the brake system. 

Remove road wheels.

Lift out retaining spring (1).

Remove plastic plugs (2).

Slacken self-locking nut on Bowden cable until handbrake cable tension is released. 

Remove handbrake cable (1) from rear brake caliper. 

Remove banjo bolt (2) and release brake hose from caliper (3). 

Tightening torque:
-

Brake hose to brake calliper Banjo Bolt M12 x 1.0 .............................................................................................................................  40 - 50 Nm
