Exhaust Pipe/Muffler Hanger: Service and Repair
Replacing All Exhaust Suspensions
Warning: Danger of scalding! Only perform these tasks after exhaust system has cooled down.
Remove rear muffler.
Remove screws (1) and remove reinforcement plate.
Remove rubber mounts (2) from exhaust pipe.
Replace rubber mounts.
Rubber mount to reinforceing panel
M6 ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................... 9 Nm
Remove rubber mounts (1) from rear hanger strap and brackets.
Replace rubber mounts.
Note: Always replace rubber mounts if the rear silencer bracket or rear hanger are replaced.
