Recharge the battery.

Procedure 3 - Replace the battery negative cable with an IBS cable and replace the positive battery cable with an IBS sensing cable cable

If neither an IBS nor a red sensing lead from the IBS to the battery positive terminal is installed, disconnect both the existing battery positive cable

Install a replacement battery negative cable with an IBS cable.
Recharge the battery.

Procedure 4 - Replace the positive battery cable with an IBS sensing cable

If the IBS is installed, but there is no red sensing lead from the IBS to the battery positive terminal, replace only the battery positive cable, following the
instructions in procedure 3 above for the removal
and installation procedure.
