ground. If this condition is not met, the convertible top is not opened (block condition). In the event of a malfunction, the micro-switch generates a
fault memory entry.

NOTE:  No short circuit recognition.

A short circuit of the lead to the micro-switch is not detected by the Convertible Top Module (CTM).

CVM: Convertible top module

The convertible top module (CVM) controls all the electric and hydraulic functions of the convertible top. The convertible top module is connected on
the K-CAN.

The convertible top module is installed at the rollover protection.

Under certain block conditions, the CVM cannot execute a convertible top movement (see System functions).

Convertible top button

The button is integrated on the cowl panel in the roof control panel.

Pull button towards the rear: the convertible top opens.

Press button forwards: the convertible top closes. A green LED as function indicator is integrated in the roof control panel.
