Replacing Seal For Panorama Sunroof Frame

54 13 055 Replacing Seal For Panorama Sunroof Frame

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove complete panorama sunroof

NOTE:  Follow repair instructions for bonded seals on panorama sunroof

Pull off seal at contact edge starting from body cutout (peel off).

Installation:

-

Clean bonding surface with adhesive remover (sourcing reference, refer to ETK - Electronic Parts Catalogue).

-

Press seal without stretching (squashing).

-

Stick on seal in sections.

-

Establish seal joint.

IMPORTANT:

-

Do not touch bonding surface.

-

Surface temperature >= 20 degrees C

-

Replacing Seal on Front Glass Lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Move front glass lid into fan position

NOTE:  Follow repair instructions for bonded seals on glass slide/tilt sunroof.

Detach seal from glass lid.

Installation:

-

Clean bonding surface with adhesive remover (sourcing reference, refer to ETK - Electronic Parts Catalogue)

-

Press seal without stretching (squashing)
