About the 3000GT
The 3000GT was a 2+2 sports car made in Nagoya from 1990 to 2000, sold in Japan as the GTO. Based on the Diamante, it used a transverse 3.0-litre 24-valve V6, with twin turbos, full-time all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering and active aerodynamics on top models. Dodge sold a mechanically identical version, the Stealth, from 1991 to 1996, and a retractable-hardtop Spyder was offered for 1993–1995.
What these manuals cover
- 1991–1998: the 3.0-litre DOHC V6, naturally aspirated or twin-turbo in the all-wheel-drive VR-4, including the Spyder, and the SOHC V6 of the 1998 base model.
Tip: the Dodge Stealth is mechanically identical, so its manuals cover the same car.
