AVAILABILITY OF ALL-SEASON AND SNOW TIRES

THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES TSB-93-31-001, DATED JANUARY, 1993. PLEASE DISCARD THE PREVIOUSLY ISSUED BULLETIN.

REVISIONS INCLUDE NEW TIRE SIZE AND RATING INFORMATION.

PURPOSE

This bulletin provides information regarding tire performance under snowy/icy weather conditions.

VEHICLES AFFECTED

All 300OGTs driven in snowy/icy weather conditions

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Some customers who drive their vehicles in snowy/icy weather conditions have requested information concerning tire performance on the 3000GT. All
3000GTs are equipped with high performance tires suitable for normal driving conditions (no snow or ice on the road).

When these vehicles are driven in areas with snow and/or ice on the road, your customers may wish to purchase a set of all-season or snow tires. If these
tires are used, inform your customers of two important points:

All-season tires may be used year-round, but, under severe driving conditions, the vehicle's road handling capabilities will be diminished.

Snow tires cannot be used year-round. Their use is unsuitable under normal driving conditions.

RECOMMENDATION

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc., recommends the following:

Advise vehicle owners that all-season tires and snow tires are available for purchase. These tires can greatly improve the vehicle's road handling
capabilities in snowy/icy weather.

CAUTION:

To achieve the correct performance from all-season or snow tires, they must be used in sets of four. Never use them in pairs.

Make sure your 300OGT customers read and fully understand their vehicle owner's manual, especially the areas dealing with snow tire usage (in
the Tire and Loading section), and driving on snow or ice covered roads (in the Safety section).

PARTS INFORMATION

Listed are all-season tires and snow tires available from tire dealers selling the Yokohama and/or Michelin brand. When selecting tires from other tire
manufacturers, be sure to obtain the correct size for the specific vehicle application.
