Fuel High Pressure Hose Installation

7. When connecting the high pressure fuel hose and the crossover pipe to the fuel rail, apply fuel to the hose union, and then insert, being careful not

to damage the O-ring.

Torque value, hose connection:  5 Nm (4 ft.lbs.) 

Torque value, crossover pipe:  10 - 13 Nm (7 - 9 ft.lbs.) 

8.  Install the fuel pressure regulator to the fuel rail, if removed. 

Torque value:  9 Nm (7 ft.lbs.) 

 C 9. After replacement of the fuel rail and injectors, check for leaks with the system pressurized.
