Connect a typical garden hose (3/4 inch or 1/2 inch diameter) to a potable (drinkable) water supply. DO NOT use recycled or other water types
that may cause staining or spotting of the vehicle finish. Hold the hose vertically while opening the water supply valve. Adjust the valve until the
volume of water matches the value for the particular hose size as shown in the illustration.

Hold the hose approximately 12 to 15 inches above the suspected leak area. Move the hose back and forth for at least two minutes per location, or
until detecting seepage or leakage.

If leakage or seepage is detected, repair as necessary and retest.

To prevent spotting, rinse the tested area of the vehicle before the testing water dries on the vehicle surface. After rinsing, wipe the surface dry
with a clean cotton cloth.
