Oil Cooler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

Pre-removal Operation: 
-

Engine Oil Draining.

Follow removal steps outlined in illustration.

Removal Service Points 

<A> Engine Oil Feed Hose / Engine Oil Return Tube Removal.

CAUTION:  Be sure to hold the weld nut of the oil cooler while loosening the eye bolt.

INSTALLATION 

Installation in reverse order as removal.

Post-installation Operation:
-

Engine Oil Supplying.

INSPECTION 

-

Check the engine oil cooler fins for bends, breaks or plugging. 

-

Check the engine oil cooler hoses for cracks, damage, clogging or deterioration. 

-

Check the gaskets for damage or deformation. 

-

Check the eye bolts for clogging or deformation.
