Pre-removal Operation
1. Drain power steering fluid.
2. Remove main muffler assembly.
3. Follow removal steps outlined in illustration.
Removal Service Points
<A> Crossmember Bracket/Crossmember Mounting Nut (on differential side) Removal (2 & 3).
1. Support the differential case with the transmission jack, then remove the crossmember bracket and crossmember mounting nut (on the
differential side).
2. Slightly lower the crossmember.
INSTALLATION
Installation in reverse order as removal.
Post-installation Operation

Install main muffler assembly.

Refill and bleed power steering system.

Bleed 4WS system.
-
Check 4WS system operation.
