REPAIR PROCEDURES

1)

Remove Door Check Knock spring pin upwards with a hammer.

Caution:

With the check removed, it is possible to open the door excessively and cause damage to the door and fender. Use care when working on the door
under these conditions.

2)

Remove Door Opening Weatherstrip Pull the weatherstrip off the door and remove any remaining plastic fasteners with a side cutter or other
suitable tool. Care should be taken not to damage the paint finish during this step.

3)

Install New Door Opening Weatherstrip Press the weatherstrip into the retaining channel of the door. Firmly press the plastic fasteners fully into
the holes in the door.

4)

Apply Adhesive Apply weatherstrip adhesive (3M #8001 or equivalent) to the applicable location as shown in the illustrations and firmly press the
weatherstrip into place.
