Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair

1.

Remove hub dust cap, then loosen driveshaft nut.

2.

Raise and support front of vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly, then the under cover.

3.

Remove cotter pin, then the wheel bearing nut and washer.

4.

Disconnect caliper assembly from knuckle, then tie and suspend brake line from strut.

5.

Disconnect lower control arm ball joint from knuckle, using tool No. MB991113, or equivalent. Loosen but do not remove attaching nut.

6.

Remove tie rod end cotter pin, then disconnect tie rod end from knuckle, using tool No. MB991113, or equivalent. Loosen but do not remove
attaching nut.

7.

Remove stabilizer bar, then the driveshaft.

8.

Remove retaining clips from driveshaft ends, then remove strut assembly attaching bolts.

9.

Remove hub and knuckle assembly.

10.

Reverse procedure to install.
