REQUIRED AND CONDITIONAL OPERATIONS

Below is a flow chart which shows a general description of the required and conditional operations in this bulletin.
Required Operations

The "required operations" must be performed on all Affected Vehicles as described on Page 1. These "required operations" are as follows:

1.

Remove exhaust manifold heat protector. Check manifold ID number and for evidence of cracking. Reinstall heat protector.

2.

Remove carburetor and install choke adjusting shim.

3.

Remove and clean the sub-EGR valve.

4.

Replace jet on jet mixture solenoid valve.

5.

Replace the o-rings on jet mixture and deceleration solenoid valves. Reinstall carburetor.
