Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

1.
Measure clutch pedal height as shown, Fig. 1.
2.
If height is not 6.9-7.1 inches, turn clutch pedal height adjusting bolt until height is correct.
3.
Measure clutch pedal freeplay by depressing pedal by hand.
4.
If freeplay is not .6-.8 inch, adjust as follows:
a. Turn outer cable adjusting nut at floor pan and adjust clutch cable freeplay to zero-.04 inch.
b. After adjustment, depress clutch pedal several times, then check that clutch pedal freeplay is within specifications.
