About the Diamante
The Diamante was made from 1990 to 2005 and won the Japan Car of the Year award in 1990. It was created by adding 6.6 cm to the middle of the Galant, and its platform was also used for the 3000GT. The name means "diamond" in Spanish and Italian, a nod to the three diamonds of Mitsubishi's badge.
