1. Verify that a yellow striped vacuum hose is connected to vacuum nipple "A" (Figure 4).

NOTE:

It may be necessary to twist the vacuum hose to see the yellow stripes.

2. Remove and discard the existing Yellow striped vacuum hose.

3. Install the new EGR vacuum hose assembly on the vacuum nipples with the white band placed TOWARD the throttle body. Figure 5 shows an

installed EGR hose assembly on vehicles with TCL. Figure 6 shows an installed EGR hose assembly on vehicles not equipped with TCL.
