Tighten TPS mounting screw.
7.
Connect the the TPS electrical connector.
TEST TPS OUTPUT VOLTAGE
1.
Without starting the engine turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and check the TPS output voltage (use scan tool or measure from harness
side of connector). (0.4-1.0 volts acceptable)
- If the voltage is out of specification, test the Throttle Position Sensor, its electrical connections and wiring harness.

Turn OFF the ignition switch.
3.
Remove the feeler gauge.
